When someone buys something like a clean SHO, from the original owner, and says it's the cleanest one he has ever seen.
But is selling it because he doesn't have time for it. There is always time for an SHO, unless because basketcase

Last year for the manuals. I had a 91 and I loved that car. Only reason I got rid of it was to trade in on my S2000. Fantastic sleeper.

Since I got my new Jeep, I drive my beater like once a week. I make time for it. And it's just a beater. Why would he need his arm twisted to drive an SHO? Something smells fishy.

I always wanted one of these but I thought no way is this even near me and I then click the link and..."WHAT THE FUCK HOW CAN THIS BE 10 FUCKING MINUTES AWAY FROM ME? WHY DO I HAVE TO LIVE IN THIS STUPID FUCKING APARTMENT WITH ONLY 1 FUCKING PARKING SPOT???"
NP even if it might need some work, that is a classic and it appears to be rust free

I've seen a lot of "nicest one ever seen" cars for sale on Craigslist/Kijiji that turn out to be complete piles of shit when viewed in person.
I can see that the SHO above is a rust bucket. You can see a spot of rust on the front fender and on a lip of the quarter panel. Also, that's obviously not a 91' as listed in the ad. 1991 was still a first gen. This is a second gen. Oh and with 173000 miles I don't care how nice you may think it is, it isn't.
Sometimes I wonder what dream world Craigslist sellers live in. Sure you want to advertise your car as a sweet ride so it sells fast but don't blatantly bs in the ad.
When I list cars for sale I always list all the problems so there are no surprises for a new owner.

I think a lot of the time when this happens it's really just the buyer having unrealistic expectations. As awesome as an old car is, it's still old and things have changed. I've seen that with a friend who picked up an old Nova SS that was in pristine condition. He sold it a couple months later because he just didn't like the way a 70s car was a 70s car. I tried to get it off him...but Nova's go for too much for my tastes.
